Over the last few weeks I found a few new favorites that I wanted to bring to your attention. One of my favorite skincare lines, First Aid Beauty is back in my life in full swing. Featuring both a cleanser and exfoliator from the line in the video, I'm only scratching the surface on plethora of amazing products First Aid Beauty creates. 2013 Favorites: Hair, Body, & Tools

Finally, the last installment of my overdue 2013 Favorites featuring haircare, body care, and tools (including brushes). There were a surprisingly large amount of items in this category, and many extremes (i.e. mentions of Bath & Body Works items while also Oribe). I've found myself over the last year really getting into makeup brushes and starting to appreciate the art of a well manufactured brush and that affects it can have on your makeup application. 2013 Favorites: Makeup & Nails

2013 was a year that I discovered so many amazing products I know will be in my arsenal for years to come. This includes Burberry Cosmetics, a brand I got my paws into at the beginning of the year and immediately became obsessed. At the end of 2013, Marc Jacobs (specifically their blushes) really stood out to me and will certainly be a line that I'll be diving further into over 2014.Even though the video doesn't contain in depth reviews on these much loved products, it is a great way to get an understanding of who I am as a makeup junkie :)

Better late than never, a month of struggle to say the least. With a broken wrist and impending surgery it's been difficult to use certain products (i.e. cleansing oil) but I have found solace is trying out new products. Thus resulting in a few new favorites this month. Ones that really stood out were the L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm inTender Mauve and one of my favorite nudes, Bite Beauty Retsina.

Regardless of my blogposts being at a minimum, my love for cosmetics has not withered in the slightest. Attempting to handle a career, social life, relationship, and a blog/youtube channel has proven to be a challenge. However, I was able to get around to filming my November Favorites. As the seasons change I turn back to favorites that have been my tried and true moisturizing and exfoliating products. Colder weather means it's time to hydrate the skin, slap on darker nail polish, and pamper time in the shower/bath. In the video I mentioned that the L'Occitane Almond Oil 500 mL bottle is only available during the holidays. This is no longer the case and it can be purchased all year. However a great deal is rather than repurchasing the larger size, but getting refills for $12 cheaper for the same amount of product!

Today I bring you an incredibly late September Favorites. Regardless of the of the upload date, these products are all worth the attention. In the last year I've found myself being more interested and experimental with hair styling products. I continue to gravitate towards a minimalist routine and look, but I like to find that perfect combination of hairsprays, oils, and volumizers to give my hair that sexy, tousled, and effortless hair. Two high end products are worth discussion, one by Living Proof and the other, Bumble & Bumble.


In addition to some hair care finds, there are a few new additions to my skincare routine that are worth the mention. As my last review suggests, I am still loving the Mario Badescu Keratoplast Cleansing Lotion along with the accompanying face wash. Both amazing products for delicate, dry, and reddened skin (whether by couperose or rosacea). Definitely make sure to watch the video to get lengthier descriptions of all the products I was loving over the month of September!

Over the month of August I was fortunate enough to take a trip to Australia (travel post and haul coming soon)! Many of the products featured in my August Favorites came along for the ride as well. One of the star items is the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Booster which I am so happy is now part of my everyday skincare routine. As summer is in full swing, my routine has changed alongside the heat wave. Rather than letting my makeup melt off during the day, I have found myself setting my it with powder, something I normally never do, due to my typically dry skin. MAC Studio Careblend Powder has stepped up for the challenge, neither "cakey" nor patchy, this is a perfect powder for the normal to dry skin types. MAC's Turquotic has been the scent of the summer, fresh and citrus, and oddly smelling fantastically of sunscreen. One of my all time favorite things to blog/vlog about: face masks. As is obvious in my posts, I love to pamper myself, and masks are the ultimate pamper. I truly believe that they can be done on a regular basis if you just remember to throw one on at the end of the day while you are still running around the house or finishing up some work. 


This video goes through my current top 5 favorites. However, do remember that every one's skin is different and products that may work miracles on me, may do damage to you! So, always ask for samples, and if you live in the US, take advantage of our fantastic return policies!

Over the past month I have discovered some new products that I'm really excited to share with you. As the weather has been getting warmer and the work days have been getting longer, my makeup routine has had to accommodate. A few of the products mentioned below have made that possible. Also, I can't forget to mention two new lip formula loves, the Nars Matte Velvet Lipstick Pencils and the Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipsticks. These formulas are amazing and I'm trying as best as I can to not purchase every available color.

For my dry and dehydrated skin type, most of these cleansers are creamy and moisterizing; in general those are the types of cleansers I gravitate towards. The beginning of March was cold and frigid but the sun came out this last week and caused an overhaul in my daily makeup routine. Out came the self tanner and away went the intensive moisterizers. January, a cold and dry month when the heat is blasting and your skin can get dry and flaky. We decided to escape the weather and took a trip to Costa Rica and Panama. Thus, not only was I using products to combat the cold, but I busted out the sunscreens and travel essentials as well.
